What Is a Safe Keeping Receipt?
A Safe Keeping Receipt (SKR) is a formal custody document issued by TerraVault Logistics confirming that a specific asset — such as gold or diamonds — is held in our vault under secure, insured storage conditions. The SKR records the essential particulars of the asset: description, quantity, independently verified weight, purity or carat value, the storage reference number, and the agreed terms of custody. It provides a documented, verifiable record of holding that a client can present for purposes such as third-party verification, financing or lending discussions, or in support of arranging an onward sale, transfer or shipment — always subject to the underlying agreements between the parties involved and without TerraVault acting as a party to those transactions.
